Antonio Lo Po:

The home of passionate host Antonio is the famous holiday destination of Taormina in Sicily. Antonio has been trained in various upmarket hotels and restaurants and he believes food and service of the highest quality should make every customer’s visit a special experience. As wine specialist he loves to present and serve the treasures of the wine cellar to his customers.

Antonio’s favourite dish: „Tuna Carpaccio for entree, followed by Spaghetti-seafood and swordfish a la Messinese“. This is complemented by a white wine - „Leone d’Almerita“.


Donato Albano:

Donato grew up in the village of Salandra near Melfi in the Matera region where he gained comprehensive training and experience in the regional gastronomy as well as traditional Italian cooking.  He built on his knowledge and extended his skills through formal training in upmarket establishments. This strong foundation has enabled him to offer the customers of Padelle d‘Italia a wide variety of dishes in the down-to-earth South-Italian style as well as the more upmarket Mediterranean style.

Donato’s favourite dish: „Orecchiette with fresh oyster mushrooms and Salsiccia“, complemented with a glass of„ Aglianico del vulture“.
